Looking to offer more gluten-free and vegan options, Barilla expands its popular one-ingredient Legume past line with the launch of the new Red Lentil Spaghetti.
Made with one single ingredient, Red Lentil Spaghetti offers a delicious nutty taste, an always “al dente” texture that consumers love, and is a good source of protein and fiber.
The new Red Lentil Spaghetti provides an opportunity for vegans to expand their food options and be more creative in the kitchen. Barilla Legume pastas offer a wholesome way to add variety to your meals, “making it a great foundation or addition to a range of dishes.”
The addition of the new vegan spaghetti brings Barilla’s one-ingredient legume line to a total of five varieties, including Red Lentil Spaghetti (of course), Chickpea Rotini, Chickpea Casarecce, Red Lentil Rotini and Red Lentil Penne.
All varieties carry a suggested price of $2.89 and are available on Amazon.com. Red Lentil Spaghetti will be available in most major retailers nationwide by Summer 2020.
