The Mexican fast-food chain Del Taco continues to innovate by adding two new menu items made with Beyond Meat.
Yes, it’s true, Beyond Meat is back at Del Taco, this time in the form of burritos. The chain’s new Beyond Meat burritos are the Beyond 8 Layer Burrito and the Epic Beyond Cali Burrito.
The Beyond 8 Layer Burrito is a vegetarian menu item that comes with seasoned beyond meat plant-based crumbles, tomatoes, guacamole, beans, lettuce, cheddar cheese, red sauce, and sour cream tucked inside a flour tortilla.
The Epic Beyond Cali Burrito is also a vegetarian menu item made with seasoned beyond meat plant-based crumbles, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo salsa, and crinkle cut fries in a warm flour tortilla.
As mentioned above, these new burritos are NOT VEGAN. The only 100 percent vegan items on the chain’s menu are the Beyond Avocado Taco, Crinkle Cut Fries, Avocado Veggie, and Hashbrown Sticks.
Del Taco’s new are available at participating locations nationwide for a suggested price of $6.49 each.
