NUGGS is a new company that makes that plant-based chicken nuggets and delivers them right to your door.

The company, launched by 19-year-old serial entrepreneur Ben Pasternak, recently made the news because it raised $7 million in funding.

The first round of investment led by McCain Foods, who currently manufactures the vegan nuggets, raised its $7 million in funding from high profile investors such as Bob Pittman and John Maloney, among others.

NUGGS has created a great product that uses plant-based technology to simulate high quality chicken nuggets, a McCain Foods spokesman said in a press release.

Made with a new texturized pea protein technology, NUGGS delivers a juicy nugget which, according to their website, is more advanced than an animal-based chicken nugget. The nuggets contain 180 calories and 22 grams of protein per serving, and they’re also cholesterol-free.

NUGGS are available in 40- and 80-count boxes for a suggested price of $24 and $29, respectively.

The best part? You don’t even need to go out to get them. As mentioned above, NUGGS ships right to your with FedEx 2Day shipping at no additional cost.
