Tim Hortons is jumping in on the Beyond Meat bandwagon with the introduction of two new vegan breakfast sandwiches and a vegan wrap.
The three new menu items include a 100 percent plant-based Beyond Meat vegan sandwich, a vegetarian Beyond Meat Breakfast Sandwich, and a Beyond Meat Farmers Breakfast Wrap.
The Beyond Meat Farmers Breakfast Wrap is a new twist on the brand’s popular Farmers Breakfast Wrap.
The vegan breakfast items are currently being tested at various locations in Toronto. The sandwiches are available for a suggested price of $4.39—about $3.26 in U.S. dollars. While the Beyond Meat Farmers Breakfast Wrap goes for $4.99—about $3.71 in the U.S.
If tests are successful, the company plans to roll out the new vegan menu items nationally at over 4000 locations by the end of the summer.
“Canadians are looking to add vegan options into their diets and we’re excited to partner with Beyond Meat to test three Beyond Meat Breakfast Sandwiches,” Tim Hortons President Alex Macedo said in a press release.
Fans are now begging the fast-food chain to bring the new vegan items to America. However, the company hasn’t announced any plans of doing so.

l live in Northern Ireland and we got the vegan wrap and veggie burger (not vegan) but I’m finding it hard to find any ingredient lists, the only thing l can find is allergen information on the Tim Hortons website which says the vegan wrap has eggs and milk . . .
